I received an email from MILSURPS.COM member Amatikulu. He graciously forwarded a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of information on No.32 scopes for the Enfield No.4(T) sniper rifle, which he got some years ago from a Dutch collector called Harry Bindels. I've converted the current spreadsheet to a universal PDF file and I'll try to contact Harry and get it updated, if possible. The spreadsheet has Dutch language headers, but there's a translation table at the very bottom to understand what they mean.
In essence it's a spreadsheet that attempted to track various scopes by serial number, as to where they were officered for sale, who sold them and also who bought them.

I'm looking for assistance in finding a scope for a Fazakerly 4(T) done in 1945, which went to a display, about 8 yr. ago, during which someone stole the No. 32 scope. The scope did match the rifle. This is the property of the Elgin Military Museum, in St. Thomas, Ont., so we are understandably not happy with its loss.
It is #23982. If anyone comes across it, it is stolen property.
Also if someone has a scope for sale, we would also be interested in purchasing one to complete our exhibit. In either case, you can contact me, or the museum.
Thanks to all.

I have a M47C, C/i\ marked, 1944 dated no4mk1(T) serial no B38512 which is looking for it's scope and bracket. Unfortunately the butt was swapped on this rifle, so if you have a rifle serial number 3292 and scope no 3255, let me know and we can work something out.

I just want folks to know that it wasn't our service in the USA at BDL LTD to Peter Laidler that lost your scope. We've done almost 250 and have never lost one. Folks in Europe and Australia should send them to G.E. Fulton & Sons in Bisley for the repair service offered which is also performed by Peter. ATB.

OK. I'll throw my hat in-
No4 Mk1 Trials rifle needs No32 Mk1 scope S/N 5966 (oddly high number for a trials, but it appears to have been the only # applied to the wrist) or something very early but in good working order.
No4 Mk1(T) 1944 E prefix s/n needs S/N 124 (probably Vickers No32 Mk2/1) scope.
ETA Oh, yeah -- Also need Canadian C No32 Mk? S/N (C)270
I have a No32 Mk1 scope that I'll unlimber if I get a replacement. S/N to follow, but I think its in the 7000's. Its been on at least two other rifles.

Ok,
I have rifle X33021 with scope 23631 (A&KS Mk III)
Matching ;-)
I've run across:
74L0118 1944 No 4 Mk 1 * Longbranch (T)
Bracket: 74L0122
Optic: Lyman Alaskan, 4389S
(Note, the 4389S was stamped in the wrist of the stock too, so I think the scope is the correct s/n for the rifle, but somehow the mount is wrong?)
Anyhow, it's the No4(T) that's used as the Chouinard Trophy (top 2 man reg-force sniper pair).

1941 Maltby S/N 12411 looking for scope S/N of an indistinct value.
The most likely choices:
1372
1572
1672
1872
Most likely 1372 or 1572, but would be tickled w/ any of the above!

I have a 1945 BSA No.4 Mark 1(T) S/N X31332 looking for a No.32 Mark 3 scope in a bracket with the rifles S/N. The scope number on the wrist is unreadable.
I have a 1941 Fazakerley No.4 Mark 1(T) S/N 21051 looking for a No.32 Mark 1 scope serial number 521 and it would be made by Vickers as an early prototype.
I have a 1945 Longbranch No.4 Mark 1(T) S/N 90L8321 looking for a scope serial number 191-C
I have a 1941 Savage No.4 Mark 1(T) S/N 0C864 looking for a No.32 Mark 3 scope serial number 23294 probably made by Kershaw.
