2 questions re: Type 44 Carbine

1. Were the bores chrome lined? 2. What does the multi piece cleaning rod look like? Photo would be helpful. Thanks, Bob B.

My 3rd pattern Type 44 does not have a chrome bore. I believe the T-99 longs were the first to have chrome bores followed by the standard shorter T-99. Sorry I can't help on the cleaning rods, Ray
