Featured here is a Mauser 98 in 8mm Mauser, manufactured by BRNO. Comes with winter triggerguard, leather sling, cleaning rod & YES all numbers on bolt & receiver match!!!

Obviously a late war production due to the stamped metal on the stock & trigger guard. Leather sling is original & showing signs of age, metal in very good condition, stock has no cracks, but scratches and light dings from handling.

Buyer must have a valid Canadian PAL for purchase,Buyer pays GST Tax, only ON residents have to pay the PST, buyer pays exact shipping fee via can post courier, determined at end of auction by winners address.
Starting price is the same as the reserve, so no BS.

Ahh... scr@w it. I'm gonna take the plunge. While not as collectible as a German K98, I need an example for my accumulation of these things.

Too bad about the ground receiver ring though. Would have been nice if the rampant lion rollmark were intact.

I'd also asked Jeff for pics of receiver when it first appeared. I'd be interested also but gun-fund took a Mauser hit already. Go for it Claven2 and you could probably drive to pick it up for less than shipping if still driving that little Suzuki.
