Quartermaster Stores Ad Preparation Assistance
The Military Surplus categories of the Quartermaster Stores, are open to posting of completely FREE regular ads (buy/sell/trade) and auctions from both private individuals and commercial dealers. We do understand that not everyone is computer literate, so there may be members who want to place ads in the Quartermaster Stores (http://www.milsurps.com/vbclassified.php), but are reluctant to do so because they're uncomfortable using computers or the Internet.
So, as a FREE service for our membership, the system has been designed for the Quartermaster to do this on any member's behalf. The actual ad will appear under your MILSURPS.COM member name, as if you had directly entered the ad yourself on-line. ALL contact with interested buyers and sellers will occur privately between them. The ONLY service the Quartermaster provides is preparing and entering the ad into the system.
If you would like an ad placed under your name, simply send an email to the quartermaster@milsurps.com, including answers to the following questions:
Subject: Enter the subject description for your ad here....
Category: What category would you like your item to appear under....

---MG/Anti-Tank etc....

Timeframe: How long do you want to display your ad for... (anything from 1 day to 2 months)
Allow Offers? Will you accept offers? Yes or No ( Not Applicable for auction listings. )
Price: How much do you want to list your item for (not applicable in some cases)
Paypal Address: Your Paypal address if you'll accept payment by that method....
Shipping Costs: For example...

Finally, make sure you include in your email (or attach) any pictures you'd like to appear with your ad, plus write some words of basic ad copy text describing the item, or in some cases indicating what you're looking for. Don't worry about spelling and grammar. The Quartermaster will take care of that for you. ;)
Once your ad is posted for the membership to see, you'll receive an email from the Quartermaster with a link so you can view it.
All you have to do then is sit back and read the PM's from members who may be interested.
