Can anyone please let me know what the thickness and length of the 1943 lanyard cord? OK, I really don't need the length so much as the diameter. I made a lanyard out of para cord and thought it was a little thin and wanted to make another.
I am still sticking with the McRosco #6 (150 lb test) for ocean fishing for the actual clip instead of trying to copy the 1943 metal clip.
Perhaps I might break down and get an copy of the 1943 lanyard from WPG as they look pretty well made. But I have been studying some rope craft and like putting it to use.
