Colt lightning frame

Bought some old parts at a gunshow this weekend and there is a frame for a Colt lightning. Would this have value to someone? Is it practicle to rebuild one from available parts or is it a conversation piece. Thanks Truman

Unless its in primo condition its not very valuable, as its probably one of the few parts in a Lightning that doesn't break- regularly. Even nice rifles are out of order most of the time. Kept the gunsmiths busy in their day, I suspect, sort of like Rem.742's do now.
