2nd post can op rods be straightened?

Gentlemen this is my 2nd post the first one seems to have been lost. My question was kindly answered but before I wrote the info down the websight was up dated and the answer seems to be lost along with the post. I have a Win. un cut op rod with the dash in it with a tweak in it. It's where the modified cut would go, was wandering if it can be straightened. It seems that it can a guy from IN.,ILL I believe it was. Would the person who replied on the first post kindly resend the information. Thanks Jeff B

Spoke to Jim this morning. The guy is very nice and friendly type not all uppity and full of themselves. Very knowledgeable, I spoke with him about 30 mins. I really cant say enough about the man. He is really straight up. Someone I could hang out with and talk guns all day. He agreed to see what he could do. All that for 15$ He said if he just looks at he can tell if it is possible to repair but he assured me that if he attempts it, it will look better than it did. That is what I want to here. My motto " If your scared I can't use ya" Well he aint scared, So the op rod ships today. I'll keep everybody posted on the out come. I suggest that anybody who reads this post and has problems with there op rod will use this gentleman Jim! Regards Jeff B

Mr. Swartz made an op rod for a tanker style rifle for me that fit perfectly and works even better. I dropped it off around noon and he called me at 5 to come get it. He is a very intresting and inteligent man that is a joy to talk to and his love of these rifles shows through. His price was so reasonable that I even left him a little extra.

Hello here is a quick up date. Jim contacted me this morning and indicated that the op rod actually has 2 tweaks one in the pics and the other just before the bolt lug cam slot which he is attempting to repair + the gas piston is on its way out. He quoted me $55 for the repair, well if this thing looks good he is going to get a tip. How about that for service a guy who keeps in touch with his customers (Unheard of in todays world) Two thumbs up!!!! Jeff B

ive never used him before but from what ive heard, i wouldnt hesitate to if needed.

the fact that he took the time to contact you with info is very rare in this day and age. i would be very reassured by it.
