A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. A partial list of mods:

    Lightened Wilson Combat rear BUIS
Lightened and "1913'd" Parrs rear sight adaptor base
Lightened and ported Smith Enterprise muzzle brake
Co-witnessed front sight tower w/ M16icon sight -not yet finalized
Very adjustable butt stock adaptor- its been altered so many times I lost count!
    Lightened trigger housing
Lightened hammer - its about 55% its original weight- gotta help locktime!
    Heavy Canadianicon match barrel
Enidine recoil reducing stock extention- Between this and the brake, felt recoil is less than the average AR15.
    Crap test Pro Point reddot
    Brookfield mount
What else? I forget right now...

    And who's idea was that?

No, really, not my cup of tea but it is your rifle. Set it up the way you want. Often times when the "pure" military rifles are unveiled they are a little less than perfect. It looks like some of the modifications you have done would be improvements. Let us know how she shoots. A picture of the target would be cool.

Thank God I'm not a purist, that way I don't have to be annoyed and can instead enjoy it instead
