    Best Ammo Source?

Well, it would seem that I have stumbled onto the $64,000 question. Having just purchased my first Garandicon, I can tell that I will forever be searching for sources of "affordable" ammunition.

    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks from the newbie.

It's not for everyone but I load all my own. I rounded up 3000 once fired GMM brass about three years ago and I buy bulk military surplus bullets from Wiedners. It works out real good.

Thanks, Mark. Looked there yesterday; it seems they're all out. I'll look again.

Guts: That looks to be the long-term solution, but I'm not skilled or equipped. Perhaps in the future. Thanks.

I've heard tell that the CMPicon have just come into possession of a big chunk of ammo that will be available soon.

Wallbanger, keep checking back. The CMPicon got a boatload of Greek HXP ammo. It's sitting in the dock going through customs.

70 million! Wow. Maybe that'll last a while? Guess I'll keep checking back and score some...I'm thinking the CMPicon will be swamped with orders.

    Thanks all.

Golden Bear, Silver Bear, all the Wolfie is steel cased and berdan primed. go bang once and it's gone forever at approx 60 cents a round. For .75 cents a round you can get fresh factory and save the brass. Or buy brass and components. I still have about 400 rounds of LC I got at the North store when I bought my SC 03A3. I now have over a thousand rounds that I have reloaded. It's just plain cheaper. I get my brass at gun shows and pick ups at the range. Good shooting
