Everything that seller has is original and numbers matching.
He has a quality hardware carbine that looks like if may have been something nice, but it has a big bogus new stamped cartouche on the stock. That pretty much ruins the chances of anyone who knows much about US millitary firearms bidding on it. I think that term " numbers matching" is used by sellers who troll for suckers who don't know any better. When I see that term used it sends up a big red flag for me at least

I like the "early" DAS stock stamp, the "early" lock bar sight and the "early" butt trap!

"seems everything he has is collector grade and all original..."

Everything he has is Fake grade and Overpriced. To be wrong so many times makes this guy a crook. Gun Broker should not let him advertize if he can't be honest.

    Just for yuks,

I asked the seller to explin what he meant by "all matching", since I noted parts fro several WWII years and a post WWII stock. Here is his answer. "By all matching I mean all matching manufacturer not mixed OEM."

This auction here :WWII M1icon Garand Springfield 1942 All Matching Colle : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com
pic 15 has a danish stock with a fake rebuild stamp. I would like to know when Springfield was moved to Denmarkicon! I like the last line in all his "original" auctions. This collector knew what he had!
