I Believe for a 4.2 SA you would need a WCE Elevation and a Wright windage
That is what is on my 4.2

WCE elevation found on late 5 to 6 mil SA. Wright windage also late 5 Mil to end of production. As per Larry Babcocks "M1icon Garand Photo Essay"

Many of the elevation pinions and windage knobs were made by subcontractors. Those that I have mostly seen are NHC and DRC that are correct for early postwar SA Garands.

I am not saying I or Scott is correct nor Larry is Wrong
Just seems too coincidental for me

So, are the WCE windage and elevation knobs on my 4268xxx possibly correct, not replacements? The color looks to be consistent with the rest of the sight.
