Hi, I just got this ammo in a trade and Iam wondering what it is? Can has marks as follows T1CAJ 800 cartriges Cal 30 carbine ball M1 in cartons Lot 6327 Repacked EC-7-44 unfit food container. Is this a collecters Item ?? Is it corrsive ammo?? Should I sell it in the can or should I open can and sell it by the cartons??? Please email with any help on this ammo!! Thank you Randy randbguns@wmconnect.com

All carbine ammunition is non corrosive, since it was discovered early in development of the prototype carbine by Winchester that corrosive ammo messed up the gas cylinder and short stroke piston.
What you have is unit turn in carbine ammunition and battlefield pickups that have been inspected and refurbished for re-issue. It is up to you whether you sell it to a collector or fire it. Pesonally, I'd take it to a gun show and sell to the highest bidder, since there is nothing special about it and it is made up of various lots.

If you're in Canada drop me a line, I'd be interested in buying it from you.
