Hello everyone ... :)
I'm a relatively new collector and I'd like to add a nice WWII period K98k German Mauser to start a bolt action rifle collection going. I would like something in very good to excellent condition, similar to the one in the pic I borrowed from Badger.
I'd like an original, but my budget will have to settle for a post war rebuild. I'd prefer a really nice "all force matched" refurbished East German, Yugo or Czech K98k rifle, but will consider a RC (Russian Capture) if in good shape. It would be great if many of the old German manufacture WaA marks and firing proofs were still clearly legible on the rifle.
Since I want to shoot this rifle as well as keep it as a collectible, the bore must also be in excellent condition and the rifle needs to be correctly head spaced.
Please let me know what you have for sale. I can accept PM's, Email, or use the "Submit a Private Offer" button. I would need to see good quality pics of any rifle being offered.
