I thought one of you guys might have a more righteous use for this than I do at the moment, and rather than auctioning it off I thought I might find someone with a comparable No.4 Mk.1* stock set.
Full Kriegsmodell stock set off of a Russian refurb:
-Proper barrel bands and screws and buttplate, all unmarked and Russian blued
-Small crack at the tang, which has been arsenal repaired
-Handguard has original serial number, stock has no original serial number
-Russian numbers on stock are tastefully done, the sanding isn't disfiguring
-Stock seems free of shellac as well, but doesn't appear sanded
I'm hoping for a Long Branch stock set in similar condition, including bands, but will consider any No.4 Mk.1* in similar condition.
