"INGLIS DIAMOND: THE CANADIAN HIGH POWER PISTOL" by Clive Law.

Hard cover book with dust jacket published as a deluxe first edition in 2001. There are 312 pages and 379 quality illustrations. This book covers the history, development and use of the High Power pistols book produced by the Ordnance Division of the John Inglis Company in Toronto, Canada during WWII. The explains why the FN High Power came to Canada in the first place and the resulting reactions among the military forces of six different nations.

Lots of detail, specifications of the pistols and the many interesting and unusual experitmental, presentation and specially serial numbered rarities. There is also a discussion of the use of the Canadian High Power by the military of many post war countries.

A great reference book for collectors and historical researchers of military firearms. A companion book for THE BROWNING HIGH POWER AUTOMATIC PISTOL.
