These photos show some HRA marked FAL magazines for the T48 rifle which was tested in the 50's. There were some 500 H&R T48 rifles (rifles were marked T-48) manufactured and I believe all used the standard barrel, a small percentage had the parts for full auto. The magazines used were all marked HRA and 20 round.

Also during this time period, High Standard Manufacturing Corp also produced a small number of T48 rifles, also with the standard weight barrel but used a different type of charging handle from the H&R T48. High Standard also produced a lightweight model too. My question, has anyone ever seen a magazine manufactured or marked High Standard ? for the T48 rifle16634166331663516636

Also what became of the FN T.48 Rifles after the testing ?

I had deleted the photos to get additional space to post other photos and did not think there was much interest in the T48 project1960919610
