You're bidding on a British No.4 Mk.I (T) Sniper Rifle, serial # AV 2234, .303 British, 25' barrel with a fine bore, English manufactured No.4 Mk.I (T) which retains 90% of its original finish which has faded at the muzzle as well as on the projecting edges and contact points, the No.32 scope (ser. #2718) is in very good condition and has clear optics with some mild fading to the original finish on the tube and around the lens housing, nice wood that has a fine military oil finish, forend numbered to the gun, butt stock has a minor grain crack to the upper left side of the butt stock nothing alarming, butt stock is numbered "9453" at the wrist with crisp military stamps S51 and British Proofs on the bottom leading edge of the stock and a stenciled number 4 at the butt on the left side, cheek-piece is a (arsenal?) replacement and is affixed to the butt with two brass wood screws, Leather sling included, a very good example of a British sniper rifle that‘ll look great in a Military Firearms Collection.
