Seller Says:
Item no. 2201 - LEE-ENFIELD .22 PARKER-HALE CONVERSION TRAINING RIFLE
A British Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mark III* bolt-action rifle manufactured by the Royal Small Arms factory, at Enfield England dated 1917 showing Parker-Hale conversion markings and reworked from the original .303 caliber to .22 caliber for training purposes. The conversion consisted of re-boring the barrel and chamber plus installing a 22 LR sleeve, removal of the rear sight and replacig it with an adjustable aperture sight, changing the bolt head for one with a off center firing pin and larger shell extractor, hollowing out the magazine thus leaving an empty shell to gather the used brass casings. The wood stocks are pretty much left in their original configuration. Serial numbered with P9406 the same serial number matches on the bolt, nosecap, and stock. The crown of the barrel shows the Parker-Hale stamping. Includes brass disc and brass buttplate. Overall condition is very good, blueing is at about 85% with wear showing on the sharper edges, bore is mirror clean with sharp rifling, the wood shows the usual dings but no cracks or major flaws. A rare post WW1 training rifle that is seldom seen for sale any more. A non restricted class firearm.
Price $875.00 CAD
