Seller Says:

1918 Australian made WW2 sniper scope for the Lithgow no1 mk3 HT sniper rifle.

Used but not abused

In good shape, outside and inside.

Exterior finish mostly worn off, with some blueing remaining around the center section.

The scope/rifle serial number, 812, is in tiny letters under the focus knob.

Lenses are in great shape, no cracks, chips, mold or delaminating.

Everything is how you need it for a rifles restoration, this scope won't cost you anything extra.

Some dust and dirt visible on inside surfaces of lens, needs a good blow out or cleaning

Cross hair is in great shape,

Adjustments move as they should.

It's been a long time since one of these showed on ebay, who knows when, if ever, another will come.

If you're serious about completing your valuable rifle, this may be the last best chance for some time.

I shouldn't be selling this, I know I'll regret it, but...

I just wanted to add that I've put a reserve on this to somewhat protect the for me considerable expense that went into buying it, I don't want to disclose the amount but will say that its about $600 under the last selling price I saw for a 1918 Patt.

Auction closed - Reserve not met - Bidding ended at $1,335.00 U.S.
