1903-A4 Springfield Sniper, Remington Serial Number 3409xxx puts it in the first 2000 made .Remington produced the 1903A4 from January 1943 to May 1944.Barrel stamped RA 4 - 44 probably replacement barrel installed when the rifle was re - arsenaled . Bore bright and shiny with clear lans and graves .Correct mix of black and parkerized parts . Stock wood has usual nicks and dings for a stock thats been out in the field . Stock and hand guard good match in color . Correct Weaver M73B1 scope with electro-penciled serial number (30103). Scope optics clear and bright .Correct original Redfield mounts . Remington proofs in front of handguard . Comes with period correct sling , WWII plastic scope protector, " cigar tube " cleaning kit and correct " white grease " pot. See the pics for everything described above . Three day un fired not dis assembled return . Very rare example of an early 03A4. Hard to find with correct early scope .
