Is this a Matpakke-Colt?

I have only seen the "luchbox Colt" in a few photographs but they weren't as crudely made as this. This pistol has no markings of any kind and I know the two I've seen in photographs had the slide markings of the Kongsberg Colt but nothing else. It looks like a lot of the pistol is hand finished, like the slide stop and the slide. I haven't seen grips like thiese either. I had a chance to buy it at an auction today and didn't(it went for less than $100)What do you guys think the story on this .45 is?

It's hand made no doubt about that part. I wonder if it's one made by the NVA, we've seen examples that look almost exactly like this.

Looks like NVA. This one was captured in Vietnam.

I believe you fellows are right, now I feel even dumber for not buying it, it went for $90, kind of makes my stomach hurt.

Yes, I would have bought it just because. You can't shoot them safely but I think they hold a place in the .45 collection anyway. Right beside the Singer and NAA...
