I just picked up an M1 Garand

"Cheaper Than Dirt" in Fort Worth, Texas has both Greek M2 ammo (Safe for the M1) and 8 rd enbloc clips. Prices are very reasonable. I don't know what kind of problems you might have importing the ammo to Canada but I would think you could get the clips. The last I bought were Chinese made but were new and worked good (about .50 cents each).

another M1 enthusiast... well done buddy! welcome to the club. you'll find yourself falling in love all over again with your Garand each time you pull the trigger :)
check out this site: DistriCorp English Web Site (http://www.districorp.ca/English/englishmain.htm)
click on the ammunition link, and you'll see what they have. I recommend the cartridges with the 150 grn projectiles. you can shoot multiples and not have to worry too much about over-working your action.
happy shooting!!

I see you're down in SW Ontario....
Check the Calendar (click here) (http://www.milsurps.com/calendar.php) for the Woodstock Gun Show, Orangeville Gun Show and the Ancaster (Hamilton) Gun Show. They should be an easy Sunday morning drive and you'll find ammunition sellers there. I know there's one guy who sells M1 Garand 30.06 milspec ammo in cans and full enblocs.

Badger
