I have a .455 Webley and have had it to the range and it shoots quite well.
But the ammunition cost!!!
I've seen it at the gun shows where sellers want up to $5.00 a round.
Commercially it's not too bad when one can find it.
Anyone know where it's abundant and relatively inexpensive?

the only way you are going to have a cheap 455 is to reload it is a plain as that, Fiochi sells it but at 65.00 to 85.00 per box what else can you do. I advertised on here and CGN and managed to get a small horde of wonderful cast 265gr HB. Save those cases it is such a low pressure round it will last a long time.

Epps..On hwy 11 sells the cast bullets or you can buy the mould from Buffalo arms (they ship to Can.)
Brass can be made by shortening 45 colt...Lee makes dies.
It,s a very easy round to load. I think I have about 2-3 handred rounds ready to go at any time, most of the brass picked up at my range...works out to pennies a shot
If you don,t handload yet you may want to start thinking about it. over the past few years prices have really started going up. wih the amount shooting I do It really pays off.

reloads seem the way to go...it seems
I have bought at Epps and Gun mart in Brockville.
thanks
.455 brass seems to last forever. I have ancient DC Co. 455COLT brass that I have reloaded many times for my Webley.

I believe Canada Ammo has some Fiochi .455 right now. $60/box if I remember correctly.
It's actually worth the price, too. It shoots well, and you can use the brass forever.
