The "ENGLAND" in branded right into the grip. It's so not me. Doug

So Doug, rather than trying to scope out interest on this forum to get an idea of how much you can sell it for, why not just go ahead and put it on the "WTS" Forum?

You guys ever heard of them repointing these bayonets likes the Canadian's did with their Ross bayonets in the Great War? This one has (P) 1948 on the blade and red grips. Doug

THe england mark is most likley the US import stamp whcih said all items had to have their point of origina marked on them, luckily this practice didnt last long as it usually devalues the item big time. I ahve several blades with simialr marks, as i colelct then as i find them as long as th eprice isnt bad. never seen a No7 though

Import markings did not go away on firearms, they were simply replaced with something else. The 1968 GCA requires the importers name & address.
