Any members tried Lasik for eyes?

I've got the ol soft eye focus going on, need reading glasses. Has anyone tried Lasik eye laser treatment and whether one can focus on the three sights again like the good ol days?
I'll probably do it one day, just wondering if my shooting can recover too?

I had Lasik in September 2001. The week they let people fly again after 9-11.

Ten years of good vision, though at night i now need glasses, the prescription is so tiny it' sbasically just helping me keep focus. Eyes work fine.

You will still need reading glasses, but your shooting will work fine. I've shot irons out to six hundred easily. My vision went from 20/400 to 20/20 and 20/15. No issues when deployed, working days or nights.

Lasik in 1999. Near sightedness eliminated. Reading glasses needed after lasik, but was getting to that point before.

Right eye a little weak for distance now, 10 years later. Just passed the dpt motor vehicles eye exam a while back.

Thinking of having a touch up. At the range I still shoot well with iron sights. But 100 yds is a bit blurry recently even with bright sunlight.

    YMMV.

PRK ( precursor to Lasik ) in 1994. Need glasses now but for about 10 years I was able to shoot iron sights okay. Don't expect perfect vision forever. Also, different people react differently so your results may not be the same as everyone elses.
I would do it and Lasik is a lot less painful and cheaper than what I had.
