Yes, item No.2 listed under Enfield #1 Mk1 is a nose cap as it is know in the UKicon.
But the trouble is that Springfield Sporters does not ship overseas.

Hey Tertle, those Mk1 nosecaps are a nice piece of work and affordable, and who knows how long that supply will last. Perhaps a forum member can grab one 4u and ship it onwards. However someone sold one of these on ebay last week for $20, UKicon based and shipped worldwide, so there's another avenue that might open.

Hey RJW, yeah just about to make that approach, i might get a couple one for my friend and a couple for me, one for a project and another for lets be honest no doubt another poor neglected rifle i will pick up, problem with being a bloody magpie!!!!

i take it the only real variation in the nose caps between the NO1's and the latter III*'s are the ears?? or did the furniture profile change??

    cheers

Minor change to the furniture profile being the hole for the screw that holds the barrel band was not present on the early wood, and neither was there a recess cut for the sight protector ears.

    Cheers
