    Enfield Tide Going Out

just having a bit of a whinge ... with my current employment / financial situation I am having to sell some of my firearms. As I have a few Enfields they are going to make the biggest hole and I am not happy to see them going.
Today I sold the Maltby No4 which I planned to do the sniper conversion and will have to sell the No1mIII* HB and No4 7.62 as well. What did surprise me is I priced my M38 swede to sell but no one was interested. In fact, most people asked what it was, clearly things have changed from 15 years ago when they were so popular.
This episode will hurt but it is part of the rich tapestry that is life. End of whinge...

I would love your m38 Swedishicon mauser as they don't seem to exist here in the UKicon, sadly though getting it from Australiaicon to the UK has now become virtually impossible!! ( If anyone in the UK has one for sale please contact me) Sad to hear that you are having to sell some of your collection I hope things improve for you in the very near future.

Thanks guys... they will be out there buccaneer and I can recommend them as a great all round rifle. It's sad to see them go but it is what has to be done.
The upside is I have decided to replace all of them with one rifle when I can ... an No4T .... depending on the cost of the things at the time. Saw one that looked pretty neat today with a $6900 price tag.

You can always hang onto the buyers contact info and call them later when the lotto win comes in, that way you're just leasing them out for a while, lol.
