The 2012 the complete book on Lee Enfield accurising

Well, befor i comment about the book i just want to first say,(A) i bought my own copy,(B) Im not getting any kick backs! and (C) im slightly anoyed that Roger didnt publish this two months ago when i first came out of surgery as THEN i would have had something i could have done whilst getting better!

Well early this morning i got an email, the much awaited book was ready......about time I thought, as ive been hanging out for a good read on accurising Enfield’s for years, and to be written by a Kiwi.....even better i thought!

to be honest i had till recently forgoten about the book, I must have emailed the online "are you interested in a book on....." several times and given up thinking "arggg Bu**er must have folded"! And then i just forgot!

What was odd is that in this time i actually met Roger without knowing who he was. we were at an auction in Wellington some years ago and there he was meticulously working away on a Lee Enfield stock. This very stock i was later to see in all its glory on his website. Small world! But sorry i digress, back to his book, or should i say E-Book.

Well to be honest i really thought i was buying a book and thought, what the heck its not too expensive and could have the odd useful piece of info, so i bought it! Then i get an email "here is the link to you ebook" "WHAT an E-Book!!!!" owell i thought, i have to be honest, i thought BU**ER as im a tactile guy i like to hold and read books, scribble in corners and make notes, so i thought "bother!"

So i open the "book" and read, and read and read and pick up phone, "rodger, its mark, that book is bloody great (might have been a little more colourful!!)"

Again being honest, when i rung Roger i had not yet totally finished the book, but i was impressed and its worth getting gentlemen. It brings together ideas and tricks from those passionate buggers who tinkered away and squeezed out every ounce of goodness out of the great rifle. I was also informed that there more to come that will interest me, as im at about page 80 of 218! But already ive a few weekends set aside for "tinkering days"!

So have a look at The 2012 Complete Book on Lee Enfield Accurizing

Again this is not a paid endorsement; I had even planned to get a signed copy if it was any good, little hard being an Ebook! but dont let that put you off and im not going to telling you whats in it, but it does cover a great range of topics and Roger can allude to the contents a bit more as i dont want to give stuff away!! PLUS Ebooks you can print and scribble all over them and still have a "Good" copy, im now sold on E-Books and waiting for his next in the series, nudge nudge!

In my opinion "The 2012 Complete Book on Lee Enfield Accurizing" is a good book : well written with plenty of pictures, as an immage sais more than a few words. I like the fact tha depictind various accurizing methods, the authors explains tha "why" and not only "how to do". So you have in mind the key of your own rifle. Definitively a good book: i red it last night.
