    All about Kiwi Enfields

Just thought I'd post that I listed a new site on Enfield Resource, its about NZicon marked and NZ used Enfields. I've seen some enthusiastic posts about kiwi marked rifles so I'd bet this will be of interest.
Home | All About EnfieldsAll About Enfields | A Kiwi Collection of the Great Battle Rifle The Lee Enfield

Its been a little while since I did a sweep for new enfield related sites, I bet there's some more newbys popped up out there, our ever populating hobby taking over the world, lol.
    cheers

    Thanks

I am so just trying to learn all this Enfield stuff, its just such a massive topic, but i just want to help keep the rifle alive and well.

I really really think sites like this are gold mines, i honestly marvel in what you guys know and the collections that you have. Having clever buggers like badger, Mr Laidlericon, Son and countless others, well its humbling and to be honest often i will just sit back and try and absorb as much as i can. My site will never be in the same league as this, but what it may do is act as a feeder site to places like this for more new enthusiasts.

Plus you get to meet some really great people, blokes like Spike, Jrhead, Amatikuluicon, RJW, Jollygreen. Even my wife has been amazed by the generosity that i have been shown by people ive never meet before that have sent odds and sods that have helped with a projects or proof read my entire site to help! trust me i have kept this goodwill going myself and have paid it forward when i am able to.

So thanks Roger for mentioning my site, as a result ive enjoyed one of my busiest days traffic and im rather proud of my efforts, did it all myself! just need to keep tidying up, adding where i can and keeping the Enfield story alive and well.

    regards

    Mark

Kiwi Enfields are a very facinating subject. Quite low numbers but a high survival rate. I like the early Mk1's amd MkIIIs with the batch numbers on them. A subject which warrants study I think. The early NZicon armourers loved stampings, (especially the S>
