Just as a bit of Christmas entertainment, here are some photos of my "Personalized" flintlock pistol.

Made 200 years ago with my name on the lockplate.

That's what I call "forward planning".

And it even seems to have very early proof marks (crown over crossed pennants???) lying on their sides.

There surely can't be many of these around in shooting condition!

The only other Patrick gun I have ever seen was a very tatty percussion shotgun offered several years ago by these people

Get yourself a really vintage (1858) Husqvarna. Item 500496. Just don't stop to think about the price!
They also have some very cute carbines ar very uncute prices.
