    1955 Faz In Wrap

    I just purchased a #4 Mk2 still in it's wrap, with a bayonet and scabbard. The receiver part is open (in Canadaicon we hafta look at the numbers. Can anyone tell me about this little jem?

    The exact numbers are:

    No4 MK2 (F)
    12/54 PF337###

    Still in wrap and full of grease. Has an old label taped to wrap:

    I bought 333083 years ago in the wrap with bayo as well, imported into States by CAI. Interesting my bayo is numbered to it's scabbard, but not to the rifle (?). I think you'll hear the serial number falls within the 'Irish Contract', and perhaps value in the wrap near $700 U.S. +or-. Hope you did well. Cheers, Don

    There's not much to tell. It's new. Good if you have another to shoot. Bad if you don't! I fianlly vacuum bagged one just to resist opening the thing up.
