Mk1 vs MkII Replica Scopes
Has anyone used either, or done a comparison on quality of the two?

There is no comparison inside. The repro scope is not the quality of the original but still good for what it is. See my note on the scope in the previous post on the No.32 Mk.1 replica scope.

Just one small comment and that was Paul said that the grat post was .0008" wide. That's a mistake and the grat should be .006". The crosswire should be .0008".
The replica post is visibly too thin (Any idea of its diameter Warren?) but since the average shooter isn't using it as a unit of obscuration then it doesn't matter too much. The tip is far, far too sharp an angle too and this would be a big problem shooting at someone in cover. To illustrate what I mean, the snipers shoot at a figure, into a window, where the target is holed up at the back of the room. The sharp point gets lost.... try it!

The reticule is not my favourite point on the repro scope. I'll try and pop a reticule under my digital microscope and show the reason why. The reticule is a "cookie cutter" type reticule. The staida wire and post are cut from one piece of material and installed like the CTS scope in the 24900 (?) to 25000 serial number range with a ring holding the stadia and post in the diaphragm. They will not be user friendly for replacement as there are no datum lines to work from. The definition between the horizontal stadia wire and vertical post is not sharp but a very slight radius. Most people would probably miss it but Peter and I and a few others would spot it right off the bat. I just re assembled a repro last evening and I might tear it down again and photograph both reticules in the digital microscope for a comparison. You will certainly see the difference then. I like the clean definition of the original 32 scope, hands down. I might make a grad block with post and wire and see how it looks. I started to make a grad block/diaphragm for the repro scope and have it mostly done other than the final fitting. The fitting takes some time as Peter will attest.
