Others will be along shortly that will be able to give you a more decisive answer, but off the top of my head I wonder if the safety assembly is assembled properly.

I'd like to help, having fixed a few Enfields with mechanical problems but in the nicest way, I (and I suspect most other readers on this forum.....)can't make head nor tail or understand a word that you're talking about! Will you write it in some other easily read and understandable way?

I am going to try to reword what you have said.

When cycling the bolt with the safety off, the bolt will not cock.

If you engage the safety before closing the bolt, the bolt will cock.

The cocked bolt will not fire with the safety on.

Does this accurately describe your issue?

Question: with the bolt closed and the safety off, can you manually cock the bolt by pulling on the cocking piece?

    Paul
