Which 1950s-1960s military aircraft would have had this aboard?

I've come into possession of an interesting piece of military memorabilia that I'm trying to find out as much detail as possible about. It's a rare super-heavy-duty Stanley liquid serving unit. It's been confirmed for me by Stanley-PMI that the piece was manufactured in 1956 and was intended for aircraft usage. It was bought as military surplus, so it's obvious it was deployed on some variety of military aircraft. What I'm curious about is what aircrafts this unit would be found on and what function it served.

It's definately from a military aircraft, probably an RAF one or a Royal Navy helicopter due to the fact that it doesn't come in a stabilised gimbal mounting. That way, you can be sure that the contents will be slopping all over the place as you go to get your helping of slops.

They must have had these in the Royal Navy helicopters in Malaya and Borneo because there was always slippery slops over the floor of the whirlwinds (or were they wessex's.....) that your rubber jungle boots just trampled in................ just joking!
