    Monday April 9/12

Well it is that time of the year again when I think of those brave young men under the command of General Arthur Currie who went over the top in the Battle for Vimy Ridge.

They were a brave lot and Canadaicon proved that day we were the best and that continues to this day.

Please take a few seconds on Monday to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the good of mankind. I am fortunate as my father made it home, many of his closest friends didn't and I was able to pay my respects to them when I visited Franceicon a few years ago..

    Thanks.

Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

My great Uncle was killed on the 12th raiding trenches with the 58th Brantford. I think about those guys all the time.

I was at Vimy 26 years ago while on a high school tour.

Even the dicks in the class were moved by the place. Truly a special place for Canadians.
