View Full Version : Wehrmacht field cap...real, or a real fake?

A friend up and gave me this cap a while back, it came out of a trunk he bought from a deceased WW2 vet. Or that's the story, anyway. Anyway, he thought it was a replica, I somewhat agreed at first, but now having second thoughts. Thought I would see what the experts in this realm thought. Fire away, gentlemen!

Weell, Since I have 2 or 3 Luftwaffe HBT hats I'd be inclined to say it is good, altho I've never seen a Heer example.
That said either it has the wrong eagle on it or the RzM label is Pfake! I vote for the label. Doesn't seem right on that sort of item?

I didn't think the MILITARY used RZM labels ? SA, NSDAP,etc, but not military.
