    crufflers licence questions

Finally got a C&R licience. It came in an envelope by itself. I just asumed it would have a little info with it but then I thought DUH federal government. The info card at the bottom I assume it is for me to carry in my wallet. Is this correct? Do I cut the original? Or should I just cut up a copy?I already know to make copies before I sign it so the copies are an original signature. Is the info card enough to buy at a gunshop or do I need a copy of the whole thing? Still have to get a book so I don't think I'll be useing it for a week or so.But I think first on the list will be a 1903 springfield from sarco. Any other things anyone can think of to do or watch out for would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks in advance.

You need a full copy of your C&R to use when buying a C&R firearm to give to the dealer or person your buying it from.

You should have also received a large envelope with all the law information, forms, directions along with a current C&R listing and DVD. It may take a few days after you receive the actual license. When I got mine I received an envelope every week for three weeks. I don't know how they got that screwed up.....

Make sure you get a "bound book". I got mine from Brownell's that is great.

I'm not sure what the purpose of the wallet card is, I got mine with my renewal. Seems rather useless actually.
