    Nib x2...x2

Here are a couple NIB Remington Rand presentation pistols. Mr. Clawson refers to these pistols as "Demonstration" pistols in his 1991 book Colt .45 Service Pistols. These pistols are consecutively serial numbered to one another.

Remington Rand manufactured ca. 145 of these pistols. Most were made at the end of production in 1945. (24) of these pistols were purchased by a Remington Rand employee and were then sold to various persons. These two pistols are numbered 130 and 131. 131 is shown in Mr. Clawson's book.

Before I acquired these two pistols, I already had pistols 128 and 129...again, both NIB. I've got the hand-written bills of sale for each pair of pistols. One pair sold for $50 each. The other pair sold for $900 prior to my buying them.

Here are a few images of the pair I recently acquired.
