Well, my favourite targets are steel plates.:) Did have a M43 round ricochet backwards 100m at the last Milsurp/Tac Rifle shoot I organized though.:runaway: It landed in the grass in front of some watching shooters.
Plastic 2 and 4 litre milk jugs filled with water are fun too. Just don't fill them completely. That helps the shockwave propagate for the best "explosions."
Saw a doco a while back that showed bits of police tactical training. They tied balloons to a stick poking up from a radio controled car. The trainee had to shoot the balloon while the instructor controlled the car to between 50 and 100 yds out. Pretty fair challenge.

Jugs of water are fun, but Tannerite is the bomb, literally!

I have to think that they must end up with some shot up radio controlled cars if those cops are like the ones I see at the range... lol.

I like shooting at clay pigeons set up on a board.
They break.. :)
I also went into Princess Auto when they had radio controlled helicopters for $35....they were sold out...
I had evil plans for them.... LOL

Pumpkins are a big item around here after Halloween as are watermelons in the summer time and if it's not too cold water balloons hung out at ridiculous ranges, HTH-SDH

I like old fire extinguishers myself. Good cloud when first hit and punctured. You would be suprised how much punishment the old steel ones can take from 30 cal fmj. Cheap reactive targets.

The radio-controlled car reminds me:
How do you guys practice rifle shooting at moving targets?
What is your rig to get the target moving and what sort of target do you use?
