Dan,

You'll have to break it down and ID each part by manufacturere in order for anyone to give a rough estimate. Most all carbines have been rebuilt at one time or another, but there seem to be quite a few late Inlands that escaped rebuild because they already had the late features installed during manufacturing. Collector value is determined by the number of correct and original parts, condition, whether rebuilt or not, rarity etc.

At the moment,no less than a rack grade Inland from CMP($443.00).

Can you post a better picture of the serial number? I'm wondering if there isn't a 6 on the front (6286300). The numbers appear too small for a first block carbine and the barrel date would fall in line with 6286300. This may be an original carbine, in which case it is worth more than $4-500.

Yes it is a 6 at the front

Other then the swivel missing from the barrel band it appears that it's complete. But it does depend on what the parts are marked inside. If marked for Inland and they are correct for your serial number then as Newscotlander stated it's worth a lot more.

DanJ03,

I have a late Inland that's 100% original and it is worth a lot more than than $500. (I hope!)
Remove the action and you can see if there's an Inland logo on the trigger housing easily. That would be a start.

An original Inland hand stamp would start at 1K. JTD has a 5M Inland on AA that Marcus wants me to buy.

Harlen,

Handstamped 1 I see. I have 5 or 6 handstamps, I like them.
