Bob Greene wrote an excellent and touching book about this activity by the citizens of North Platte. Amazing and all done by volunteers. Worth the read!

Book has been around for 2-3 years, at least. Quick, easy read and well worth picking up. If I'm right, it was reviewed on CSP Book & Movies.
