Hi folks, just curious if someone can tell me how much of my recently aquired carbine is Inland, and how much isnt. It has post war upgrades, that I do know, but am just curious how many parts are from the maker. I know some of the inland codes, but not all, and havent found any online refs to them
Parts are for Inland #329xxx
Barrel Inland 5-43
M1 low wall stock with IO in sling well, with cross cannon on right side
IO marked 2 rivet handguard
rear sight type II marked HI
type III band marked KI
Slide (dont know how to tell type) marked P.I
N marked front sight behind blade
PI or AI marked gas piston
trigger group marked was I think is a W
hammer W.A
m1 mag catch marked "m" on button side and E.I inside
rotary safety marked H.I
trigger unknown
and bolt that I replaced a round .U. bolt with a near new IO 2 flat bolt (which I know is inland)
those are all the codes I can find on it. recoil plate far as I could tell has no marks, and cant tell dif between buttplates.
