I'm helping acquaintance price a few firearms he has and one of them is this Colt M1911 from 1914. Obviously, the grips are replaced. The barrel appears to be a Flannery from WWII ( he said it has an F on the lug). What I want to know if it this looks like a refinish from the pictures. I'd guess a reblue, but determining finishes on firearms tend to give me fits (Just ask John Beard on the M1903 forum!!)
