My kid went boots on the ground April 1st in Iraq. This is his third tour
there. Now I know what my father went thru when I was in Vietnam.

Good luck to him. The good thing is, if you're there, the time goes by quick. If you're here waiting for someone over there, it drags.

My granddaughter's dad joined the National Guard, hasn't got a shipping date yet, but wondering if Iraq or Afghanistan duty isn't far off, another local boy just got posted to Kosovo, pray for him too.
