Hello collectors;
I found this magazine, never seen before. It is unmarked and has a small cut on the body just above the base lip.
Could it be the WWII "pinned" Colt?

If it has an opening in the body just above the lip/base, it is not WWII. In the picture those do not appear to be pins, but rather some type of spot weld.

Is the cut U-shaped?

Maybe early 1970 Colt Commercial

Should have Colt markings on bottom if Colt commercial.

Those welds look like a Norinco magazine. Good mags.

First of all, thanks for your appreciated answers and excuse my late reply.
Yes, this magazine had an U shaped cut.
I traded it for another one, which seems (I hope) correct. The problem is I never seen even a detailed pic of a genuine WWII Colt unmarked magazine...
