The text goes on to say how you get a sling, scope caps, scope carrying tin and 50 rounds off ammo thrown in.
Oh and as another sweetener you can also have the wooden box the rifle came in for free too.

Unbelievable...I had heard that they used to have a hard time giving these things away, I guess it's true.

I can remember when they were 19.95 & 24.95 w/o scopes, and 79.95 unissued in their cases, complete except for the spotting scope.

Badgerdog:
That rifle I sold Angel last year came from an old fellow in Regina. He paid $175 for it in the late 70s. Didn't look like he shot it much.

What's that old expression Rob?

"If I knew what I know now and it was 30 years ago, I'd do a lot of things differently." ...

First off, I would have bought about 50 of these old girls at that price... ;)

Here is a pic of an ad that is pasted to the inside lid of my spare #15 sniper chest.

They certify the complete setup as a $280 value. The chest is worth more than that these days.

Edited to add: I just realised that these two ads are form the same supplier. You can see that the #4Ts were already starting to climb up even back then. They had appreciated $5 by the time of the second ad.
