It makes you wonder besides the 55-60 million people who perished in WWII, how much livestock was killed, and thus the livelihood and food for many civilians. Between the bombing, shelling, etc.. it would have been amazing if any livestock was left at all.

Regarding the 1st Photo with the dead cow's. The guy on the right side of that picture should get the 'Medal of Honor' for the defensive position he took...:yikes:..:yikes:
