(126 picture virtual tour)
Observations: Pictorial virtual tour shows the Gewehr Granat Gerät 42, mounted on 1939 Code 147 K98k (Rifle mfg by JP Sauer und Sohn Gewehrfabrik, Suhl). It also shows both kinds of HE fragmentation grenades in detail, including the Gewehrsprenggranate designed to be used as a rifle grenade only, as well as the Gewehrsprenggranate with timed fuse so it could also be hand thrown. A third rifle grenade displayed is the Gewehrpanzergranate (g.G.Pzgr.40) anti-tank rifle grenade. Also shown is the special wood crate designed to carry K98k rifle grenades. It's marked on its end panel with hbf 44 and a WaA668 (Waffenamt).
