If someone were to ask you which products Colt has sold over the years, would you say a .22 semiautomatic rifle? I didn't think you would. Colt made three versions of .22 rifles, the Courier, Colteer and Stagecoach, as well as others under several private-label names for Sears, Wards and other companies. This alloy rifle shot well, but did not hold up well. Unless it was kept oiled and clean, the alloy parts wore very rapidly. In spite of this, the little Colt rifles were good enough lightweight shooters that most owners will pay to get them fixed rather than discard theirs.

The P11 is a 9mm handgun with a 3.1-inch barrel. Capacity was 10+1, thanks to a double-column magazine. The suggested retail price of the base model was only $314 and featured a blued slide. Our P11 carried a hard-chromed slide and cost $368, but the same gun was available for $355 should you choose a P11 with a Parkerized finish. The inexpensive Kel-Tec P11 shared at least one design concept found on some more expensive pistols.
Current own would like to fix it so his son can use it (kid is coming to age).

Is anyone familiar with those whom could give me an idea how they come appart I've seen pellet/bb guns that seem to come appart like glorified Chinese puzzles in the past so I figured I'd ask before I start backing out screws and drifting out pins.

Introduced in 1963, the Remington Model 1100 shotgun has been around for over 40 years now. Variations include a sporter for field shooting, a Magnum version for ducks and geese, as well as a skeet and trap model for those who enjoy breaking clay targets. In all, there have been well over 3,500,000 Model 1100s produced over this period of time so you are bound to see one (or more) come across your bench. In this article, I'll cover some of the common problems that result in ejection failures along with a few of the possible glitches that aren't seen very often. And, of course, I'll examine the cures that will help you get this shotgun back in service as quickly and efficiently as possible.

According to the manufacturer, the Glock pistol was the first "industrially manufactured handgun with high-tech polymer grips." The barrels and slides are coated with what Glock describes as a "high-tech surface refinement" that they call Tenifer. The benefits of this "carbonitriding" coating are not only corrosion resistance and reduced glare but also resistance to abrasion. Tenifer coating is highly rated on the Rockwell Cone hardness scale at 64 HRC.Some Glock pistols are available with different color frames, but our G34 was basic black. The defining feature of the G34 was its long 5.3-inch barrel with polygonal rifling, covered by a slide that included a gaping hole just to the rear of the front sight. This relief measured approximately 1.75 inches long by 0.75 inches wide. Glock says that this serves to reduce stress on the frame. The dustcover beneath the slide was also longer, making room for a healthy sized accessory rail, which was molded into place. The schematic breakdown of the Glock pistol with magazine lists only 34 separate parts, 36 if you count the magazine insert at the base plate (part 32a), and the front sight blade, part number 16a.

Colt's first double-action revolver was their model of 1877, a six-shot, rod-ejector pistol capable of both double- and singe-action operation. The revolver was designed in 1876 by a well known Colt employee, William Mason. The 1877 pistols were built on a medium frame, and used a small birds-head-shaped grip. They were initially chambered only in the .38 Long Colt caliber, though the .41 Colt caliber was added later. Small numbers were also manufactured in .32 Colt caliber. "Lightning" was the nickname given to the .38-caliber versions, while .41-caliber revolvers came to be known as the "Thunderer." These revolvers were made both with and without an ejector and in barrel lengths that ranged from 2 to 7 inches.

My son is trying to move from Salt Lake City back to Northern Pa. He has looked for various homes here on the internet and he has been getting this email response in various forms. The guy may be a Engineer working in Africa or a minister working in Africa, etc. They want your personal information.

My son is no dummy as he is a Design Consultant and he caught this right away. The people who are doing this must have access to sales, rentals, etc. Copy and forward if you want!!

I have removed the house address. Always cheap rent or price!!!

Hello,

It's my great pleasure that you are interested in our lovely 2BR, 1Full bath home for rent. I am Pastor Thomas Daniel the owner of this home, Actually we resided in this home before and presently we have packed out due to my transfer as a matter of my profession, where I work as a volunteer with Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA),here is the site for more detail about why I am here in West Africa,Nigeria. (Wycliffe Bible Translators: World Missions for Unreached People Groups
) And my wife who is a missionary's dealing with Bible Translation and literacy worldwide.

As soon as we settle down here I had a thought of selling the house so I have to look for an agent, after getting one, we got a deal but later my wife advised against that. I reasoned with her and accepted her advise. So I contacted the agent back and requested for my keys and documents. Later we decided to have the house rent out, we would have give the same agent this job also but the truth of the matter is that the agent would want to handle it professionally and the occupant may not be able to reason along with him later. If you notice, you will discovered that the price we are offering is far below standard price, this is enough for you to know that we are not after the rental fee but the absolute care for the property.
We will be serving for a long term and now our home is locked up now and presently we have found a new home here which we will be staying for a very long term which might last 5 years in (West Africa,Nigeria) and presently our lovely home is still available for rent for ($550)as first month rent and ($550)for deposit which includes the utilities

More so,Now that we on Retreat program over here. Please I want you to note that all we will want is a very honest and neat person,so i will solicit for your absolute understanding and maintenance of this home and want you to treat it as your own,i am with the keys and documents here with me which will be sent to any responsible and interested tenant through FedEx further more you have to undergo some processes before i could be willing and convince to let my home to any tenant. The money is not the main problem but i want you to keep it tidy always. I also want you to let me have trust in you as i have always stand on my word.

My wife and I did our annual summer road trip. This time we went through Ontario, Canada. We stayed overnight in Brantford, knowing the museum was there. Brantford is a nice town, we had a meal of fresh perch and walleye that was great. The next morning we went to the museum. It covers the Canadian Military in conflict from the war of 1812 to the present. I was totally impressed. It is one of the best I've been too. I realy enjoyed the layout and displays. I took it all in and we were there for a few hours. The sacrifice of the Canadian Army in WW1 Vinny, France left me empty. I took the time to read the roll of Canadian casualties in Iraq and Afganistan, so sad.
The staff was great, I got to meet Richard Shaver the chairman of the museum, he is a great guy and took the time to guide us through the museum. I would recomend everyone finding their way up there and check it out. You won't be disapointed.....Frank

My daughters boyfriend came in last night, he is in the army airborne and we were talking about guns and we got off on the subject of ammo. I don't know how but we got around to the subject of shelf life. well anyway he made this statement " Ammo will go bad in a year if you don't use it" I ask him where he got his information from and he said they destroy old ammo all the time, if its been kept longer than a year in storage. I was shocked about this. Does our military do this with un-used ammo. If it has been in storage for longer than a year. I have military surplus ammo from the 50's in 8mm Mauser that shoots as good as new. I could understand rotating stock and using the old for training ammo but to destroy it. as hard as commercial ammo has been to get and they are destroying old stock ammo.
Has anyone else heard about this.

GunReports.com looks at Marlin's Model 60, a tube-fed semiautomatic .22 rimfire rifle, among the most popular on the market today. That model has sold nearly 3 million copies over a 30-year period. Like any product with such a long service record, this Marlin has undergone a number of revisions. The Model 60 has been offered in a variety of configurations and under several different names. The Marlin Model 60 is not a glamorous rifle, doesn't retail for a fortune, and gets used, abused, and neglected. Here's how to fix the major problems it has.

Our Bushmaster Patrolman's Carbine was yet another interpretation of the flat-top AR. The base price of this model was $1230 including the Fiberite Six Position adjustable stock and A2 front sight. But we picked several options to bring it into spec with our other carbines. A 4 Rail Free-Floater Forend (YHM-9479) was in place plus an Ergo Sure Grip (ARG- KIT). With another Ergo Sure Grip clamped to the bottom forend rail (ARG-FWD), we thought we were seeing double. The forend grip could be placed anywhere along the bottom rail as long as it was far enough forward to clear the magazine. A large knob with a coin or screwdriver slot and knurled edges held the grip in place. With two pistol style grips in place, our stance took on a narrower profile. This would be especially advantageous when traveling down a hallway or taking cover in a tight space. The forend itself appeared to be fatter. This was because the rails were covered with slip-on Sure Grip rail covers featuring the Bushmaster logo, (SCH-6L). The rail covers created a smooth, rounded feel to the forend and increased its overall width by about 0.3 inches.

Tactical bolt-action rifles are pretty easy to spot. Typically, they utilize a composite stock with pronounced pistol grip, oversize bolt handle and fire from a heavy barrel. The military models are camouflage or earth tone in color, and the law-enforcement models are usually black. Accuracy, strength, and simplicity are key attributes. Can a tactical rifle serve as a hunting rifle? We're not saying one can't. It's just that a tactical rifle typically weighs more than a hunting model. The heavy barrel enhances the ability to maintain accuracy throughout repeat fire and excessive heat.
