Absolutely L1A1 as opposed to FAL needed. I'll have to ship them to NV and then fit a block so they only hold ten rounds before bringing them home to CA, but I could do with 3 or 4 maybe. Any ideas??

Bumpo - any ideas?
Hi, I don't know if you have tried yet, but might I suggest the fal-files market place, its going to be difficult for anyone shipping firearm magazines to the US now.
Cheers, John.
I'd just try the WTB thread. Some people might be unsure of answering on an open forum and the WTB site is only a closed PM thing.......
Let's ask a man wot knows...... Brian, can mags be shipped to the US?
There are a bunch of inch pattern mags on Gunbroker at the moment for $40 each
I know that mags have been stripped & posted EMPTY to the U.S as 'Boxes'. & the springs, followers & Bottom plates sent separately a couple of weeks later. As 'Springs & Plates'.
They weren't sent as Magazines, as they were not assembled/complete. Just parts.......Not by Me I might add. But just saying...........
They can be imported without a license as long as they are declared for $100 or less. Any shipments over that amount require import licensing.
Have just found a link to a possible supplier:
LuxDefTec L1A1 LDT Magazine Magazin - Magazin - Waffen Munition Wiederladen Optik online kaufen | ARMS24 Online Shop
That's where my L1A1 came from and they also supply 10 shot mags which would be allright for the Volksrepublik California.
Hi Tankhunter, You're correct. There is a list of states that have high cap mag bans in place, California being one of them. I'd say incomplete component parts would be OK. The end user would need to modify or block his mags to stay within the parameters of the laws of his state anyhow. The funny part is that places like The Dealer Warehouse in Modesto have 20 round FAL mags available but he can't sell them in his own state!
